When they’re young they’re so tiny and vulnerable, in stark contrast to their more intimidating, mature form!
And for extra fun: Another creature with extremely vulnerable newborns — the kangaroo!
and one last one… A Baby Aardvark!
I lied… Here’s some more….

First time i seeing “Baby Hippo”… so cute.
The ‘black bears’ are actually wombats, native to Australia, for sure
The little black bears are sun bears. They are awefully cute and have big manes when they’re adults.
What you call black bears are definitely Tasmanian Devils
The bears are Sun Bears, from Southeast Asia.
#7 = Tasmanian Devils
My house is infested with house hippos.

haha, baby ewok. The pandas and hedgehogs are amazing!
A little bit of buzzkill & a bit of marsupial biology……
That kangaroo is nowhere near newborn – I’m guessing it is at least a few weeks old. Kangaroos, being marsupials, are born relatively much earlier than placental mammals (because they don’t have a placenta to help sustain them in the womb). So basically, a kangaroo gets born at just about the embryonic stage (about as big as a peanut), and blindly claws it’s way through its mother’s fur into the pouch, where it latches onto a teat and grows from there. Finally, a baby kangaroo is called a ‘joey’.
Anyway, that joey is sure damn cute!
These are so cute. I love all of them.
Aww.. thats so cute! I would love to pet them.
